The Commons includes an 18-hole championship golf course designed by award-winning golf architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., a business park and a large area designed for public buildings or facilities. The business park, with roads, utilities, and state of the art telecommunication capabilities, was designed to provide sites with quality design standards to offer a superior environment that is enhanced by the existence of the golf course.
Ironically, the first resident of the Platte River Commons (through another public/private cooperative effort) was the statewide offices for the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, an organization that is funded by the industries that it is in place to regulate. |
